An ongoing proposal just got hotter. A close-in Bethesda neighborhood with an aging populus must decide between dying in their homes or watching their homes being bulldozed...at least they can watch their nest egg grow!

This is a good article. Hopefully this will generate discussion about the preservation of neighborhoods versus development.
Absolutely. I am all for the "Greater Public Purpose" -within reason-. It is hard to ignore the fact that single-family detached homes that have stood the test of time and revival are at a prime in Bethesda proper.
